FARMHOUSE  CASALE DELL’ IMPERATORE

 In proximity to the Iblea Coast, immersed in citrus gardens, we offer hospitality in a typical farm. The rural buildings are developed around a "baglio" (courtyard with the characteristic limestone pavement where the farmers used to carry out their jobs) and were transformed into 5 comfortable independent apartments, fully furnished and with fully-equipped kitchen, refrigerator with freezer, water heater, hairdryer, ceiling fans, sun umbrellas with table and chairs outdoors.
The "Casa del Gelsomino" is made up of a double room with twin beds, living room, kitchen, and bathroom with shower.
The "Casa del Fienile" sleeps six in three rooms, bathroom with shower, and kitchenette.
The "Casa Del Fuoco" was once used in for the preparation of ricotta cheese; it is on two floors and offers three double bedrooms with double beds, two bathrooms with shower, living room, kitchenette, and terrace with a view all the way to the sea. The ground floor is predisposed for welcoming handicapped guests.

The “ Casa delle Rose “ and “ Casa del Girasole “are apartments for 2-3 persons,with shower, kitchenette.
Available to guests: swimming pool, lounge chair, gazebo, grill for tasty barbecues, large covered space for ping pong, play field for soccer and basketball, laundry area with washing machine.

 Surroundings

The agritourism is in a strategic position: in a few minutes by car you can reach the coast of Ragusa Marina, Punta Secca, Camerina, the Castello di Donnafugata, venue of theatrical and musical festivals, or the Baroque cities of Modica, Scicli, Ragusa, Ibla. In 90 minutes you can arrive in Agrigento, Syracuse; from Pozzallo in catamaran you can reach the nearby island of Malta.

Activities

Swimming pool (12 x 6), ping pong, bocce court, multiuse field, and bicycles for excursions. Horse riding 1 km away.

Food, wine and crafts

The agritourism produces oranges, clementines, olive oil, almonds. From October through all of March you can taste the many varieties of oranges: Navel, Sicilian blood oranges, mandarin, and clementines.
